Thrilled that this news is finally out in the world. We have the most amazing cast, directors, writers, producers, everybody. It’s going to be a little while before it’s on screen, but we start shooting in 4 weeks, and I find that pretty wild.
I'm very much a "the next Joy Division album would have sounded like Movement but with Ian Curtis and much better lyrics" man, so I don't really mind them being treated as the same band. (That being said, would Ian Curtis have sung on World In Motion etc etc etc)

It’s a good day to revisit this Ursula Le Guin quote. In the best possible reality, Earthsea would be the dominant fantasy series for children.

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.
I think this is a mistake a lot of people make. It's definitely the mistake the Labour Party makes, over and over. Don't try and win over the people who hate you, do right by the people who love you and want to believe in you.
