Kindness, compassion, and empathy are the things we should be spreading right now. The world is full of division. Let's all please give less time and energy to those promoting hate and shame and more time helping those who truly need it. πŸ™πŸ»β€οΈ

Had a bit of a meander today. Stopped to take in the serenity of a little stream. We definitely need some rain to boost the stream's water level.

Horse chestnut tree beginning to turn its leaves into its autumnal colours. I think most probably due to the lack of rain.

Dear #Nature People of BlueSky, may I please have your assistance in identifying what this shrub or tree is please? I can't find an exact match in any of my nature books, but I'd really like to know what it is. Thank you in advance for your help. 😊

We give so much weight to our fears, doubts, and worst-case scenarios, often without a shred of evidence.

But what if we gave our hopes, dreams, and best-case scenarios that same unwavering belief?

Choose where you place your energy. It matters more than you think.

Sometimes you get a lovely surprise if you look at the undersides of leaves. 😊 Ladybird larva on the underside of a nasturtium leaf.

Thanks for posting this. πŸ‘πŸ˜Š I've got two scabious plants, the colour of the flowers are different on each plant, so this is going to be useful discerning which type of scabious they are.

Because I need to focus on something else completely anybody have any ideas as to who made this brooch that I thrifted. It looks like it might be from the 1950s but it does not have any markings on it but it looks like it is well made.
