I keep mine wrapped in paper towels in airtight bags on ice in the fridge; change the towels out AM & PM to keep the moisture from making them mushy.

It’s a tad laborious but makes it last ~10 days; stunts the natural decay by keeping the temp just above freezing and minimal air on em.

Didn’t scale em but 5 fish that size (est.40-50lb) & a nice est. 15lb mahi split among 4 mates garnered my split of 8 large freezer bags of fish in chunks the size of nerf footballs.

Lots o’ poke bowls, sesame seared and sushi rolls this week. Also give slot away to friends who enjoy fresh tuna.

Saw two manatees enjoying grass they could now reach along the banks.

They were big; may have been pregnant females.
