An excerpt of a chicken I drew as part of a larger artwork, which also happened to be done in an attempt at a hybrid lined and painterly styles.

Been fascinated by the cuteness of backyard chickens as pets, but I don't have and can't have chickens. So, drawing of a chicken instead. Tried to make it look like one of the chickens in a drawing I got from another artist.

This was when I tried drawing some wild junglefowl-like chicken based on a photo, but it was... not so successful.

A little bird. One of my earliest attempts at drawing birds in general, it was originally posted over at my IG. Tried experimenting in a more painterly style than I normally do for this one.
