The Artemis II astronauts have exited the capsule onto a recovery raft, where they’re secured and lifted by helicopter to the ship’s deck before heading for a more thorough medical evaluation. It really is an amazing thing to see. 1/

Recovery crews are circling the capsule, inspecting heat shield and structure before giving the all clear. The crew will still stay inside for some time before exiting.

The recovery team reports the Artemis II crew appears to be in "Excellent shape."
