As somebody who is going through the second book now, I don’t get the hype, but I’m glad the people are excited.

Just finished Dungeon Crawler Carl in 2 days… What an awesome start to a series. It’s a little slow to start but once it gets going it really takes off.

I think the main problem is that a lot of people don’t download the presentations and then try to run them live from the site. I’m not sure why it messes up with the remotes, but I think at least part of the problem has to be internet connectivity in the venues.

I like Canva, but working in AV, it can cause problems for people presenting, especially trying to use a presentation remote.

My one takeaway from the meeting I sat in this week: it’s amazing the things people think AI will do for them. Every time these salespeople heard about some new aspect of a program they were doing, someone would always ask “Well, can AI/Copilot/ChatGPT help us with this?”

It’s insane.
