I really enjoyed this recording this podcast episode on Scottish UFOs: the host, Rick Palmer, had lots of thoughtful questions for me, and he also has a great backlist of previous conversations with academics studying paranormal culture @davidwclarke.bsky.social @glasgow.ac.uk

Wyrdlings!
Some things are set in stone. Or wood. Or bone. You name it, since this week:
"Carvings, Inscriptions & Writings on the Wall"
is our #WyrdWednesday topic – so, tell us tales of wyrd bas-reliefs, strange runes on artefacts and otherworldy hieroglyphs found in deep dungeons!
Since there wasn't enough time to tell Radio Four about all the ghosts in the ethereal Savernake Forest, I created a blog instead!
Heads up, this is a MEGA blog. There are an awful lot of weird stories connected to this eerie place and it's ancient trees. 👻🌳👻

Lugh Lamhfada was the last great hope of the Tuatha de Dannan: prophecized to kill his grandfather, Balor of the Evil Eye, and free his people from the bondage of the monstrous Formorians, and make the Emerald Isle green at last. #WyrdWednesday

Pubs. I think the values around pub culture have been ignored. Generosity in buying a pint for someone, community, care for the elderly, celebration/commiseration. They are central to our soaps but have disappeared from our lives. Also, looking nice.
I am incredibly excited to be doing an online talk all about my Research into Ann Morgan, The Wenlock Witch!
