Absolutely. It’s just unreal what Slot has done. What these boys have done.

Also really great to connect with you on here, Kevin. The worry about leaving X was always that LFC folks wouldn’t come, but a good lot had moved!

May turn out to be one of the all time best Liverpool sides if they can just have some luck down the stretch.

Trump's pick to run the FBI wants to target Trump's critics. Forget about whether he *can*—the fact that he publicly stated he wants to, and that this didn't immediately disqualify him from getting anywhere near the government's top law enforcement agency, is a sign of our democracy's deterioration.

I think the problem is that while Dems, academics, journalists, politicians, etc, might leave X, normie white, black, and brown folk stay there, and are fed 24/7 right wing propaganda. Arguably that just happened in this election.

Bluesky needs to immediately implement trust/security measures to prevent bot registration and other abuses. A legit ID verification system (in the back end like AirBnB, not a public facing real names policy) is key. Labeling bots too is essential. cc @safety.bsky.app @stamos.org

Chinese state media is reportedly troubled by the latest exodus of X users flocking to Bluesky. State outlets, which put considerable resources into amassing millions of followers on Elon Musk’s social media platform — including by buying ads, deploying bots, and hiring influencers — have recently seen their growth plateau.

The growing popularity of Bluesky, which has a largely liberal base and harder-to-manipulate algorithm, has sparked “worried chatter within Chinese state media circles,” a former Xinhua and China Daily employee wrote in his newsletter. He predicted the accounts will migrate to Bluesky, though it may take time. For now, the sector’s focus has shifted back to domestic, Mandarin-language channels and platforms like Bilibili, WeChat, and Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

lol China's state media is sad about Bluesky because it's not an easy propaganda distribution channel like X (and Facebook)

Bluesky now has 20 million users and I’m estimating that 19 million of those are LFC fans

I would absolutely pay for a bluesky subscription if it mean legit account verification (not real names but for security) + labelling for automated/AI accounts + real content moderation (hate, lies, conspiracies, etc removed), etc What Twitter planned before braindead Elon took over cc jay.bsky.team

It's not just that, the algorithms right now are so twisted and gamed to promote pro-Elon / pro-Trump / right wing propaganda to serve Elon's political interests, that anything else just disappears into the void. bsky.app/profile/jame...

Sorry guys, if you want the X algorithm to notice you, you need to be spewing less football stuff, and more right wing propaganda, lies, conspiracies, and BS, or at least a TESLA fanboy.

Seriously. What's the hold up? Every club needs to move over here, and close their Twitter accounts. Period.
