I just remembered! There was one on Domestika called “experimental watercolour techniques” that I really enjoyed.

I did once invest a bit more money (I think about a hundred bucks) and do a BBC masterclass with Julia Donaldson about writing children’s literature. The content and quality is much higher in that scenario, if there’s something particular you want to take to the next level.

I just looked and most of the cheaper ones I did aren’t still there - I jumped around various skillshare platforms, mostly picking up the basics on different physical media (watercolour, pen and ink)

I hear you on the motivation issue. Sometimes it helps me to participate in something like inktober, something with random prompts. Or sometimes I do random online classes. Just to externalize the motivation and accountability. But also there’s nothing wrong with the way you work!
