Eventually we got a gas stove, and I loved it because it would still work in a power outage and didn’t have problems with certain burners not working right. But that wasn’t too last because induction proved to be king of them all.

I grew up on conventional electric and hated it. It took so long to get up to temperature, and before getting the glass top they were a pain in the butt to clean, not to mention all my conventional stoves had issues with certain burners either not being able to regulate, or just being flaky.

That’s fair and you can do whatever’s best for you. I’m continuing my exile there though so I hope you continue posting here.

2025 so far has not been kind to me. First I get sick and spend days recovering, now after my first day back to work, I slip on some ice on my walk, and now I have to take more days recovering.

Honestly he talks like someone who’s gone through conversion therapy.

I think the difference lies in that one’s just negative and the other is an anti positive

I found myself just telling people “that’s not nice” and it appears to be more effective than saying “that’s mean”
