I’ve been the only or one of just a few brown people in almost every publishing related event/meeting/gathering I’ve been to in the last five years. I thought things were improving, that was me being naive. It’s really exhausting having these same conversations over and over.

I’m going to be at Waterstones in Birmingham on Tuesday signing books and being all festive 🎄 There will be lots of fab authors there, come and join us! 📚📚📚
