And I don't have any mention of how the eyes of a Saurathi are pair of colored rings with a white slitted pupil in the middle, which is just a startling sort of thing that I likely just hadn't introduced yet at the time.
Like I mention the ship itself being visible on the landing pad out a window but I don't say anything about it until a few pages ahead when the characters are getting onboard it.
Oh gods. Rereading some of what I've written for my scifi story and I'm noticing so many grammar inconsistencies, missing words, and things out of place that I'm almost ashamed to have written it that way.
Quite a few of mine are. It's just another way of life after all.
