We had a good joint side event with @ctrglobsust.bsky.social and partners @nlenvironagency.bsky.social and @newclimate.bsky.social. Great to hear from our expert panel, including @rynacui.bsky.social, on how actors at all levels can support countries in achieving ambitious climate targets.

Subnational players will be key to achieving these ambitious targets moving forward, and it’s been great to see these conversations play out at the #LocalLeadersForum.

Last week @americaisallin.com launched a new report, led by @ctrglobsust.bsky.social, that outlines potential pathways for the U.S. to still achieve climate goals aligned with the Paris Agreement.

Ambition is going to be a key question going into #COP30 and beyond — notably the need for countries who are currently below the needed levels of ambition to revisit targets.

Good to see a core group of countries with good #NDCs including Brazil, Australia, UK, Japan, and indications of a good range from the EU.
