Fabric - The Creative Coding Stack for Apple Platforms Fabric is a node-based visual programming environment and rendering engine for creative coding on Apple platforms.

Really big release of fabric.graphics

Fabric is now an embeddable swift package, allowing you to author graphs procedurally, load & render them in your own metal apps. Plus tons of UI improvements, new nodes, & fixes.

This is getting real dope:

Take ED Augur down a few levels and bump Fulgor up and that’s pretty close to my list. Oh and throw ED Libra off a bridge! Haha

Wow! Haven’t read that one of his before. But Viriconium ( especially books 2 & 3 ) have some of the most beautiful prose I’ve ever read. Bordering on Mervyn Peake level of writing.

Ooof! AI as the solution to problems created by AI has a very mafia shakedown to it.

Same situation with web search: AI slop websites have made search so miserable that using LLMs instead of traditional search is the only viable path forward.

A Projector hanging from an I-beam

We got something similar to that clamp for our projector. Clamps into the I-beam but lets you drop a pole straight down.

Alt text + tagging #USPol – point 3 is MASSIVE.
It imposes extra costs and unexpcted barriers on tens of millions of married people, plus untold trans people and others who have changed their names. Many would be turned away from voting because they wouldn't know, or wouldn't have birth cert handy.
