I don't think it's a case of no functioning QA.
My strong suspicion having worked in QA is either Sony or Arrowhead management said "it must go out on this date" and didn't give QA time or over-ruled QA reports.
It's just incredibly frustrating when you're looking forward to the new features.
Seriously, I've done QA, and I don't usually make these posts as a result. I don't know if the order came down from above to release the update without adequate testing or something, but I cannot believe some of these things would not have been spotted if testing time was given.
Like, these aren't edge-case things. They aren't things that might be missed. One of them is a CORE MECHANIC of the newly added enemy - the thing you'd expect to see the most testing.
Another is at a key mission location.
Just WTF.
Was the latest @helldivers2.bsky.social update even tested?
* New enemy breath weapon VFX does not match actual damage area
* Stuck in multiple bits of terrain 3x in 30 seconds around extraction (so key map area, not out of the way edge case)
* Ragdolling Titans travelling miles to land on you...
Unfortunately, just about every site is going to be bringing in some variety of those age verification requirements.
Pretty much anywhere people can interact online is going to be affected to some degree and the alternative for those companies and sites is to stop serving the UK entirely. :/
