Nostalgic childhood game: I've loved Sonic since I was a toddler but Sonic Adventure really cemented how much I adore this series. I used to spend more time just exploring the overworlds than I did actually playing through the stages lmao

Best retro game: I love Streets of Rage 2 man. Great soundtrack, difficult but not crushingly so, and short enough to be super fun on replays. Timeless game

Best with friends: GameCube WarioWare, specifically for the multiplayer. Maybe the greatest drinking game of all time

Turn my brain off: Any Warriors game can go here tbh but DW8 is probably my favorite. They put hundreds of hours of stuff in this game and its re-releases. Super simple and satisfying combat and banger soundtrack too

Not usually my thing: I hate BRs and multiplayer shooters in general but PUBG hits different. Super atmospheric and tense especially with friends. The grounded art design just works so much better than Fortnite's gross funko pop look too

Best multiplayer: Sea of Thieves. NO ONE IS DOING IT LIKE SEA OF THIEVES MAN. You can get shitfaced on grog and fire your friends out of cannons just cos it's funny, and hunting for buried treasure on the high seas is just such a fun gameplay loop
