Somewhere between ancient silence and cosmic noise,
the universe keeps whispering:

Tuning into TGL from the UK. I can see why this was made, it’s impressively done and can see how it’s engaging.
But I can’t help but think who is this for?
#MUFC notes: thank god I don’t have to pay for another cup game. The team that started v the team that finished seemed astonishing. Antony shouldn’t be allowed to even dream about playing higher than a wing back again.
Played alright. Spurs attack is good, these things happen. 👍
Marcus Rashford means a lot to me. As I became an adult, there was a kid playing football that also was becoming an adult. He lived my dream. And to be fair, the endless list of ridiculous moments he’s had on the pitch, he isn’t far off what I’d have been dreaming of.
Thanks, and good luck man.
A late #MUFC review after a MOTD consultation: dear lord, just play like this every week and we’ll be fine.
Quick #MUFC review: Diogo Dalot is really testing my sanity. He’s incredibly fortunate to be getting minutes with how poorly he’s playing. What on earth has happened to Martinez? Onana lets himself down too often in a United shirt. Mason Mount 🤷♂️ plenty for Amorim to review again.
Please stop bringing Antony on. Please tell all the forwards to practice close control. Other than that, I’m happy. Amorim will get us set up nicely for these big games soon.
Won’t be too keen on Arsenal in their title race however. Think a fitter team with one or two more physical presences doesn’t lose that game (Villa, Newcastle). Can see them falling away again in the league. United on the other hand needs to find its best XI over this Christmas period.
#MUFC review: first half okay. Raise of tempo in the second half meant we struggled to escape our own half, we really need to bring in some physicality in the coming windows. Arsenal exposed us with their freakishly physical squad, whilst missing their best aerial presence.
Nice to see him and Rashford link up well. Both need to perform and both did today. Midfield got pulled apart by Everton a few times today, but their lack of ability to do - pretty much anything - going forward suggests that time will soon be up for Dyche. Defence was barely tested.
#MUFC 4-0 Everton:
Erik ten Hag’s decision to ignore Amad continues to seem more foolish week-by-week. The lad cannot stop being impressive. A first name on the team-sheet in Amorim’s set-up, and the first player to have earned that right. Zirkzee deserved a bit of retribution after a hard start.
First half Bodo/Glimt were class I thought. Every player seemed to have the instincts to beat a man. At half time I thought United just needed to take less touches to up the tempo and they’d be back into it, and I think that was the difference that made United win the game. Nice to deserve it again.
Just gonna use BlueSky to review #MUFC games from now on for a laugh so here’s tonight’s:
Mazrouai is the best signing we’ve made since Bruno. Talent in abundance. Thought Hojlund took his goals well but did get stuck a few times wrestling defenders for little reason.
You can see how this United team COULD put it together and be successful. Focus must be on making decisions at speed, something that you’ll see best at United’s U18s. An increased physicality wouldn’t hurt either. Work to be done and no better place to do it than the Europa on Thursdays. UTFR.
#MUFC review:
Not an iconic start for Ruben Amorim but it didn’t have to be. Sluggish from the players who looked like they’d rather play it safe to stay in the team next week rather than take risks and be rewarded (Excluding Amad).
Hopefully my BlueSky existence goes better than my Threads existence.
I don’t even watch cricket anymore.
