Is this just a cut and paste of the post you have put out after every goal conceded this season?

All glory to the conquering not relegated Sutton. They’ll be dancing in Carshalton Road tonight.
I did not say that next season would be any better…
‘Working with you has been a low point in a generally disappointing career’ says Jackson Lamb in a motivational talk to his team in Slow Horses season 1. This has the same energy. Popped in to see if you were doing fish bowls in Carlisle but no. No you’re not. Fully understand. To next season…
Would have thought it was the only interesting thing about today. Still I suspect that with a burst of sustained inertia you won’t get relegated so take whatever small wins you can. Always next season…
Is it right that the linesperson changed as someone went to Sutton Coldfield in error?
Yes, that was definitely one of the available scripts. Sakes.
Ref at the Truro game was pretty sensible with a couple of yellows. Was at the Bradford v Crawley game where the ref gave 5 red cards in the changing room after a post match brawl.
That’s the joy of football…
Limp to a 0-3 home defeat against the bottom team - was there, was, erm, not great. Get another (another) good away win. Play the top team. Surely, surely they’ve read the script for this one (lot of York fans hoping so…).
Even £2 is looking a bit pricey. Interesting case study into the elasticity of demand…
Sakes.
I’ve worked with people who would claim these. And people who would let them through without question too.
Good value on the 40 ft bust. Feel I need one of those in my life.
Couple of beers and a curry later…think we’ve seen this one before…
Almost like you knew what was going to happen…
Sakes.
Secret Footballer mentioned a captain who would always try to kick off and then did this but suggests they were getting a kickback from the ‘first throw in’ market somewhere in the world.
I know I’ve felt a bit rough today but am I having a fever dream?
Yes I can think of plenty of reasons (and people generally have less spare cash at the moment), it will be interesting to see how the next few games play out. Should be a bigger away following next week for a kick off.
Thing that stood out to me was a sub 2,000 crowd and don’t think you’ve had one of those in a Saturday league game for quite some time.
Very sad about this.
@gandermonium.bsky.social Sutton Arms looked to be boarded up when I walked past earlier. Seems a bit sudden.
Just caught up with this. Despite my primary interests being elsewhere there’s a fair chance I’ll get to GGL a bit more next season, you have to take what you can and all that. Encouraging that there are some grounds for optimism in a seemingly average season. Just got to stop drawing at home…
How long is left?
Normal service resumed.
Oh the lyrics are genius. I have to look up a fair few to discover I knew the song…
