It was excellent - there with all the family. 25 years ago this summer we sat them at the RAH, when Mrs D was pregnant with eldest daughter, who saw them aged 9 for her first gig!

Sounded excellent at the Albert Hall Manchester last night!

One of the best was seeing them supported by Broadcast, followed by Tortoise, which apparently was 30 years ago last month!

I hadn’t been so aware of MD. Saw FM play at Trent Poly and I recall them being blistering although pretty small audience from memory. Might even have been one of the Monday night free gigs they put on around that time

Snub TV was an important gateway to new music - I was an immediate fan of FM and I seem to recall they hadn’t released anything when this was broadcast

That generated great excitement upon receipt and not just because P&P was £1 😁
