I don’t know how well the Duet will run Chrome in Linux, but that’s another option, and will give you profiles just like the desktop.
I usually run Firefox on my Chromebook with the containers extension so I can keep all of the accounts separate.
Our light show is up and once again we are raising money for the Seagate Food Bank. If you are able, please consider making a donation. More info: gofund.me/5719ac0c Thank you very much and our family wishes that you all have a wonderful holiday season.
Ah, for WP Social Notes you can turn off appending a link back to the WordPress site in the Jetpack Social settings. Pretty cool.
Does anyone have a quick review of using the Jetpack Social plugin with WordPress? It’s 70% off right now and I’m debating whether it will be worth the $36/year.

Nope, that didn’t work. Ah, it’s a feature of Bluesky, but the client has to support it like deck.blue does. Still, really cool! Thanks for sharing!!
Wait we can use Markdown formatting for links? So I could share [my latest newsletter](eduk8.me/sourcing-fac...) inline?

Ok, the coolest feature of Bluesky so far is how easy it was to use my domain name as a handle. I'm now @eduk8.me here on Bluesky!!
You are correct, and the worse kind of correct. Why would a site limit my password length?
PayPal also limits passwords to 20 characters, but at least they tell you. Still, it’s terrible.
A sign up screen for a webservice. In the password field is the text `Reappoint-Slander1-Suds` while under the password field is the warning message: `At least 10 characters, a capital letter, a number and a symbol`
Here's your password strength quiz for today. Please tell me why this password fails?
(The hyphen is counted as a symbol, so it's not that.)

I’m curious what Mastodon will be like once Threads add their integration.
However, this whole transition is making me question microblogging and its importance. I haven’t been able to articulate my thoughts very well yet, but they’re percolating. 😎
