We have to invest for greater energy resilience so we should spend on renewables, rather than the less secure and more polluting alternative www.theguardian.com/environment/...
I need to address this immediately, because I am WAY too Minnesotan to ever claim credit for this.
I built a thing to point the fire hose of people's generosity in the right direction. That's it.
I am thankful for the piece, because hopefully it means people will donate more money.

@jeanmclean.bsky.social of Green Economy Coalition talks about investing in people with amazing ideas and energy and commitment for ambitious climate action.
a graphic saying '63% say they have cut back on essentials because of the cost of living crisis', with some trollies illustrating the proportion.
Almost two thirds of people in the UK have cut back on essentials due to the cost of living. The crisis isn’t over — it’s getting worse.
Today we're launching the Cost of Living Action campaign, calling on the Government to end this crisis and ensure it never happens again.
This is how our government has been corrupted:
1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office.
2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.
4) Repeat.
For the sake of democracy, we must get Big Money out of politics.
