Chuckie Egg on the BBC was my life at age 6 and the sound when jumping is amongst my favourite all time game sounds. What a treat to read this!

Get Richard Lintern, you cowards. He delivered the best performance in Shadow of the Erdtree by far.
"Curse you, Bayle!
I hereby vow! You will rue this day!
Behold, a true drake warrior! And I, Igon!
Your fears made flesh!"

Ok, but why oh why oh why is Aimee-Ffion Edwards not on this list? She was incredible in the game as Ranni - basically the heart and soul of the entire thing - and would absolutely destroy in live action:

The @totalplaytime.com 'Text Adventures' episodes - where they read a video game novel - are just *so* much better than this sort of thing usually are. A bunch of hyper-literate galaxy brain types tearing into such a cursed genre; such a joy.

If you got 'locked in' during a task on the crystal maze which included an actor in character, did they stay in character until you were freed.

I was telling my partner about an interview i'd heard with him, and how i was suprised after all of these powerful works of art he seemed so uncertain of/in himself. She asks me to remind her of a few of his movies, then goes "why on earth was that a suprise?"

I was never so much with the YA, but i can do you an excellent line in subtly sad, elegiac books for 9-12 year olds.
