One going NE, one going SE

However I did incorrectly have 10-25 going from 39-A instead of SLC-40. That's been fixed now. Thanks for that :)

Moonlit Milky Way Launch to Space Station In the early morning of April 21, contracted with NASA, SpaceX launched cargo and supplies to the International Space Station

Another magical night under the stars here in Florida!! Thank you to @flightclub.io for helping to plan this image. NASA/SpaceX launches cargo and supplies to ISS beneath a cloud-veiled Milky Way.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket transits the 100% Pink Full Moon carrying Starlink satellites into orbit.

Shout out to @flightclub.io! The rocket went right through the center of the moon as plotted in the app.

Some small quality-of-life improvements coming in the next little while

Getting rid of the old time slider in favour of more discrete controls, as well as a pop-up calendar for choosing specific dates & times. Should hugely improve the mobile experience

Also dabbling with a light mode theme...

A couple of days ago, the Facebook pushed a memory to me from February 23, 2019, some photos of a rocket launch. The subject wasn't surprising, but the caption caught my eye: "The first launch of the year..."Six years later, (1/9)

Florida skies cleared just in time to capture a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket flying through the haze and just past the moon.

The rocket was carrying the secretive RRT-1 mission for the Space Force.

Foggy scene over the Space Coast Tuesday as SpaceX launched the Maxar 3 mission just after sunset.

8 mins later, the Falcon 9 booster returned to LZ-1 to be flown again.

Another day of playing with LLM code generation

Made this after work yesterday evening

Gonna try to add in all of (or at least, lots of) the interplanetary missions launched so far, as a sort of semi-interactive visual tool

It has tonnes of stuff too. A loading animation, to-scale bodies, correct orbital speeds and angular speeds, time controls, a dev mode toggle which adds axes and scales up the bodies, a full RK4 integrator, a ruler, click-and-drag, the fading path behind the moon as it orbits, it's responsive...

I created this today

This contains no code that was written before today, and I also didn't write any code to create this. I just prompted an LLM to do what I wanted

The generated code was consistently buggy, but pointing the bugs out and asking for solutions eventually got me here

So awesome

The light streak of a rocket launch arcs over a beach, illuminating the water. Faint, short star trails are visible in the sky.

Since @flightclub.io joined Bluesky, here’s a rocket launch photo I took back in December from New Smyrna Beach.
