yup, looks like it was due to extract texture's compression messing the image up, reimported with Embed as Basis and it fixed it!!!!!

does anyone have experience importing models from blender into godot? did a uv unwrap of a simple 500x500 texture and for some reason this weird texture dithering effect is going on when i import it and render it in engine #godot #blender
