I'm really excited about getting this out. It's some 80s acid, but done a bit differently. CD and download on @wormholeworld.bsky.social in June followed by a remix CD with some amazing remixers in August.

0.000001% rounding errors this year, not mine, I rule

Blocked out two days this week for my annual tedious year-end spreadsheet mayhem, warned accountant that I might need longer. Somehow have finished in less than an afternoon. Probably down to losing several clients last year, but hey every cloud etc etc

Yeah I tried that. Gave it 18 months on-off, too busy, not for me.

Lots of people love it though so definitely give it a go

Ok sure, I still think if you ease off and then build back up your legs would totally adapt given time.

Climbing? Indoor is fun and safe and mostly uses arms and upper body, also is a lot less boring than most fitness pastimes. Just need rock shoes and some chalk

Even if you've done really long distance in the past you can't expect to jump back in at 10k from base walking fitness. You lose condition way faster as you age, and have to sneak back up on it slowly and carefully. You totally can do all-leg exercise, just not all at once from a standing start

Slightly less running. Seriously, you need to build up v slowly, esp as you get older. Do 5k and see how you get on, then add no more than 10% distance a week until you get to where you want to be. Also leave it off entirely next weekend and allow your legs time to recover properly

Compulsory family holiday: survived.
Bits of it were quite good, e.g. this nifty lighthouse thing. Also saw some cool birds.
Credit card has sustained major damage though, how the hell do people manage to go on multiple fancy holidays a year?

My study of acid house and prime numbers is coming out on the lovely @wormholeworld.bsky.social in a couple of months.

I'm starting to get a bit excited about this.

Shouldn't be a massively expensive job to fix that lot, main problem is getting someone to show up usually. Try to find an old school roofer who'll do it with just ladders

Flashing on the chimney stack is knackered, ridge tiles need remortaring, there's a few slates missing. Vents probably ok but wouldn't hurt to check around them. Guttering looks a bit wobbly too so might need attention, efflorescence near downpipe shows it might not be doing the job

Yep there are some horrors out there, I have a few bits that are nice to have but are never going near the decks in real life

Aw I think it is nice that we have a special day for not-funny people to pretend that they're funny for a bit

I'm sure we'll hear from them very soon about a wonderful new scheme that won't increase our council tax at all. In the meantime I'll just be over here knocking down next door's garage for a multi-storey bin store

Kirklees got an extension to the deadline because they're in a contract with a private company until 2028. Not sure why councils are bound by these rules but private cos aren't :/

If you see this, post a concert photo you took. (Autechre, Leeds November 2025)

Oh shit you're right. I do have several other pics of her with the same socks at different times though, I don't think it's entirely coincidence

This absolute freak weirdo of a cat genuinely has a thing about my socks. She only ever sits next to me when I'm wearing this one specific pair, see previous pics. No idea why. Yes I do wash them jeez

It definitely makes DJing more interesting. I got a brand new just-released 12" the other week with A/B labels flipped vs the pressing, so they're still at it.

At least it's easier to figure out the mistakes now we have digital copies of releases to go with
