Results from layering my ash glaze on top of glossy black. Freakin love this. Thickness varied. But still suuuuper stable.

A bunch of planters going to Wiltwyck Spirits in Kingston NY! They’re all going to be hung in macrame. Exciting!

Freshly oiled lidded vessel. Multiple coats of Terra Sigillata and sanding and this is what we have.

Note: this is nickel silicate- it does not stay this pale. It will get much darker.

Before and after. Lidded beat up vessel with layers of sprayed terra sig. everything should get a bit darker after cone six firing.

Ash glaze again. Love the interaction of it over glossy black. I think I know what I’m going to do next!
