Sen. Jack Reed to Warsh as he dodges questions about divesting his assets: "Excuse me. I must commend you on the way you can circularly go around questions and not answer them. It's a skill. Unfortunately it's not a good skill for the chairman of the Fed."

Kevin Warsh just lost me. He argues he's going to be an independent Fed Chair, but refuses to acknowledge that Trump lost the 2020 election. If you can't state simple facts when you're in the political spotlight, you aren't independent. You're a coward.
If you’re in Virginia, for the sake of everything that matters to the rest of the civilized world, please get out today and vote yes on the constitutional amendment
For those attending the White House Correspondents' Dinner this weekend, a small question:
When you're sitting there at your table, do you think it'll cross your mind that the guest of honor is actively covering up his role in a massive child sex trafficking operation?

For the record, for anyone who’s forgotten, it’s sheer madness for a president to contradict himself nearly every day. It’s profoundly wrong that we can’t trust the veracity of a single thing that he says.
If you live in Virginia, tomorrow you have a huge opportunity to make it clear to the GOP that if they want to win, it won’t be by changing the rules and redrawing maps. At least, not without a fight. Vote YES on the redistricting vote, and push back!
May Day is next week and there are many ways you can join the massive day of economic disruption, from refusing to shop, to walking out of work, to attending a demonstration: survey.alchemer.com/s3/8705046/i...
Every authoritarian action Trump is taking must be understood against the backdrop of his declining popularity.
He feigns strength, but he's operating from a place of weakness.
Remember this.
Today's winner of the Internet. Congratulations!
“Trump’s systematic exploitation of Executive Branch power to loot billions of dollars from American taxpayers is the ongoing scandal of this ruthlessly corrupt Administration,” Rep. Jamie Raskin said.

Donald Trump will be known as the first US president to have been a traitor to his nation, embracing Putin, attacking NATO and working on Moscow's behalf. He will also be known for his failed Iran war,for his massive corruption and for his role as an accomplice to Epstein and Maxwell

SEN. @ossoff.senate.gov : “The faithless president depicts himself as Christ while he plunges the nation into wars of choice… Remember — While you pay more for everything, the First Family’s wealth is growing by billions. Because they’re crooks, and everybody knows it.”

This war is so damn confusing. It’s why we shouldn’t let drunks and dementia patients run it.
So Trump is back to threatening war crimes by destroying Iran’s civilian infrastructure? This reckless moron needs to be removed from office. #25th
They run back the same playbook with the same players every Sunday.
ICYMI: In a major victory for student voters, a federal judge blocked Indiana’s ban on the use of student IDs for voter identification.
“There is no evidence that student IDs have been used to engage in voter fraud or any other voting-related misconduct,” the court concluded.
Oil prices are rising in early trading as a standoff between Iran and the U.S. prevented tankers from using the Strait of Hormuz, the Persian Gulf waterway that is crucial to global energy supplies.
Sarah Longwell: We are committing superpower suicide in real time. Trump is making China Great Again. Poll: People in *every single one* of the top US-allied countries now believe it’s better to depend on China than on the US. The global balance of power is clearly tilting away from the US and toward China.
A bombshell new report reveals that top military officials have kept Trump out of the room during Iran war operations because they fear his erratic behavior will put troops in harm’s way.

WOW: A stunning new report in the WSJ reveals that military advisers intentionally excluded Donald Trump from the command room during the recent high-stakes operation to extract a downed U.S. airman in Iran, because they feared his erratic behavior could jeopardize the mission. 1/
Another weekend of playing Deal or No Deal with our unhinged president.
Peter Schiff: The most likely explanation for Trump's Truth Social lies about Iran on Friday, is market manipulation. If so, Trump insiders must have made billions. The next likely possibility is that Trump is either delusional, incompetent, or a combination of both. Either way it's not good.
The FBI guy is on a paranoid bender and won’t leave his room.
The War guy quotes bible passages from Pulp Fiction.
The Health guy collects raccoon dicks.
It’s an Idiocracy on steroids.
This is a generational moment for our state. What we do now matters more than ever. Let's go all in and build Florida's next chapter together.
He’s lost his damn mind.
Also, if he thinks Iran will “never close the Strait again” he’s delusional.
He’s acting like the war is over because it’s back to status quo…ish.
Still haven’t solved uranium or missiles. All we’ve done is get the Strait re-opened.
"Overhaul"? He's an expert at destroying lives. The guy who was addicted to heroin for 14 years knows nothing re 'prevention'. The man whose multiple sexual affairs and abuse led to his previous wife losing her life to suicide is not a person who *anyone* should seek advice re 'preventive medicine'.
