We are all complex people I can be a dirt road farm kid, a first responder, a PA, a builder, and a representative for all, while being non-binary. None of those things are exclusive. In fact it gives me a broader perspective to understand more people in the district than other candidates.

Healthcare is a human right that everyone deserves access to. The ACA isn't perfect and it isn't the end goal but it's a step on the triage process of getting everyone affordable and available healthcare.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. It's a day to remember the victims of anti-trans violence. Trans Folx are far more likely to be the victim of violence than the perpetrator contrary to conservative talking points.

Charlie Kirk and I disagreed on almost everything political but I am saddened by his death. Violence isn't how we solve political disagreements in this country.

My heart goes out to his family and I hope his death can serve a greater purpose to bring people together and help us find common ground.

I was in Ludington yesterday and came across the Mason County Dems Good Trouble rally at their court house. I can’t pass up a pro-Democracy rally and the chance to let people know that there is a better choice for their Congressional Representative out there.

I got a chance to stop by Moolenaar's office yesterday with @frindivisible.bsky.social to express our displeasure with his (mis)representation. I love getting out to meet with people, hear their concerns, tell my story, and let them know there is a better choice for a representative.

The big bloated bill is going to hurt rural America. The cuts to snap benefits, healthcare, and renewable energy projects will take money out of rural America's pocket to fund billionaires. It's time to elect people to Congress who understand the struggles that rural America faces on a daily basis.

@parkroseperma.bsky.social shared a great video on YouTube about the terrible conditions in ICE facilities. This is coming to MI-02 with GEO opening a camp near Baldwin. For profit prisons need to be eliminated. All humans deserve safe living conditions. Especially children ripped from their homes.

We spent the weekend campaigning at Pride events. The typical MAGA comments in my TikTok feed referenced veterans month so I'm taking the opportunity to talk about how LGBTQ+ veterans deserve excellent care no matter how they identify despite MAGA's best efforts to the contrary.

LGBTQ+ Rights are Human Rights. It's really that simple. Everyone deserves the right to marry and make healthcare decisions without religious extremism getting in the way.

Why are we starting another war in the Middle East? Why is Congress ignoring their duty to be a check on the Executive Branch? We may never know but it's time to vote for representatives that care about the people and building an America that works for everyone.
