I think people should very much hate the American education system, even if it seems like a childish (etc.) thing to do.
The only thing that American schools do is funnel people directly into the workforce; prison; or college, where they can then be funneled into the workforce.

I've seen more people joke about how crazy prison is in the context of long sentences leading to not really understanding a lot of the modern world, and I think that's good for people to become more critical of prisons. I'm glad I guess. I do hope they realize that Always Happens.
