Reasonable point, but projecting the real demand is a tricky tricky thing. OpenAI has 900 million WAU! That's a lot of demand! 94% of them don't pay for it - their revealed preference is getting it for free. If you misjudge how elastic the demand is, you build idle capacity.

It is wild to me that “pro-Israel” figures and the government in that country will just never grapple with the obvious reality that the scale of collapsing popular support for them in the US is solely their fault
