I’ve been shopping for smart thermostats and the urge to just build my own again is so difficult to resist.

Let me know if anyone has suggestions for a smart thermostat that:
1. Connects to Home Assistant
2. Runs on batteries. I don’t have a C wire.

There's two wolves inside me:

The first one just wants a normal computer with a normal IDE where I don't have to tinker with configs to get things done.

The other one wants to do everything on Linux with a custom window manager and a neovim enviroment I configured myself.

What do you y'all use for notes/knowledge bases when working on coding/engineering projects? I've been using Obsidian, but I'm considering hosting something like a Bookstack instance for more things I want to document a little more formally. Any recommendations?

#gamedev #indiedev How do ya’ll get good App Store pictures of your games?

Timing screen shots and messing with screen recordings has been rough.

Btw this is Realm Rapture! The Number 1 Free 3D Mobile Game, with complex mechanics, developed in Godot, in 2024/2025 😁
