Faut quand même y mettre un % du coup d'achat et d'entretien de la voiture pour faire une comparaison valable. Mais oui le train ça pique...

Je ne dis pas le contraire, c'est justement ce qui aurait été intéressant d'avoir comme info. Mais on ne peut pas conclure ou du moins suggérer que le transport de l'autre bout du monde est ok avec uniquement le rendement de transport d'un seul bateau.

Bref résumer le transport global au rendement du transport à temps T d'un seul bateau, ça n'apporte pas grand chose. Vous pouvez (devez) faire mieux si vous voulez être pris au sérieux comme nouveau média.

Et ça omet aussi tout le calcul de la pollution lié à la fabrication du transporteur (peut être favorable au porte container mais on ne sait pas) et aux accidents / dégradations volontaires comme le dégazage, les pertes de container, les bateaux qui coulent... Mais aussi l'après vie (recyclage ?).

Je trouve cette analyse assez pauvre. Consommer local ce n'est pas porte container vs camion. C'est tout le cycle de distribution qu'il faut voir et donc du camion avant et après le container. De plus, prendre uniquement un porte container ultra moderne comme exemple ressemble à du 🍒 picking...

Two Kotlin functions that take 2 float parameters a and b. Each function returns a divided by b if b is not 0, or a constant called DefaultValue otherwise. The first function does so using takeIf, let, and the "elvis" operator. The second function uses a simple if/else statement.

I love Kotlin but please don't abuse its features. I regularly see code like in the first function when you can instead write a simple if statement: it's shorter, easier to read, and doesn't allocate an object!

Thankfully both functions compile to the same assembly when R8 is turned on.
