We handle distribution and discovery through something called “bazaars” which are more specialized than just ATProto (and imo more fit for purpose), but we’re pretty open to having ATP and APub integration in the future if interest is sufficient. We’re just starting with a much simpler system.

Yes. We skipped it this year in favor of applying to the big NGI grant this time around and then we’ll go for Taler once we’re ready to add the plugin
That said I very much foresee the potential for tighter integration with social media.
Oh and yes we have talked about supporting out of band payments of many sorts, including “mail me a check” or “pay me at the conference”
Note that we are specifically an e-commerce platform and we plan to add support for Patreon-like things over time—but we’re not specifically a social platform, aside from comment support and newsletters/POSSE.
We do plan on having a pluggable payment system and we want GNU Taler to be one of those
Hi all!
After our initial round of hirings, we are now opening applications for the Creative Circle! We're looking for any creatives who earn money through their work and who want to have a say in our collective. Sound like you?
Sign up with this form:
For folks who want to 👀 what we've been doing with all these generous donations, we've published an update on our OpenCollective that you can check out on our OpenCollective! It goes over everything you've made possible + our future direction—thank you!
I’m gonna boost this again cause we really haven’t gotten very many applications but we could really really use the engineering help esp if you’re an experienced Rust dev
Having a set of folks who are willing and able to commit to just 5 hours a week would make a world of difference for the project
Sorry! The deadline was Nov 20 and we already announced the winner but you can follow for updates. We might do another one eventually.
can I DM you to hash out details? :)
Congratulations to our winner, @ca-rylle.bsky.social !! We'll be contacting you as soon as possible to set up the commission!
Thank you to everyone who participated, and thank you for helping us reach our goals. ❤️
If you’re a dev, we’re still looking for committed volunteers to help build this thing out. Give an application a shot!
Hey all! We have more openings available if you'd like a way to help us help you! Come and apply :)

help me write this graaaaaanntttt
Hey look, a post I wrote about an application I wrote! If y'all wanna be part of our marketing and design team, please check this out!! :) I'd love to see y'all there!
Hey all!
We're happy to say we're accepting applications into the Illusionist Circle, aka our marketing and design team! If this sounds like a project you'd like to see come to life in your hands, you can apply here:
This is y'all's chance to work on a webapp where the whole point of using Rust isn't to scale up—it's to scale DOWN. 6k reqs/s on a sub-US$30 machine is no joke. And it's a hard copyleft ecosystem that we're going to protect for the folks who rely on us! Let's do open source right.
This is important stuff—help fight censorship and promote creativity!
Please let us know if you have any questions or if something isn't clear! We look forward to seeing your applications and hopefully working with y'all!
While we're a FOSS project that accepts contributions from anyone, Sand Witches are official members of our Collective—core developers, basically—and have voting rights over the direction of the organization as a whole. As such, there are also higher expectations about time etc.
We're looking for dev volunteers as part of our Sand Witch Circle—experienced engineers who care about fast, efficient software and making the best of the Web as part of our mission to help online creative communities and fight censorship.

Hey so.
You like product?
Let's make sure this thing feels amazing to use for all involved. @conjured.ink needs your help to make it happen, and we'd love to have you onboard.
We're an open source project and we're doing our best to uhhh... do better on the UX side than FOSS has a rep for :)
It should be all good now! We were doing a DNS transfer and there was a brief hiccup. Thanks for letting us know
We're excited to announce we're opening applications for our Product/UX team, the Alchemist Circle! If you're excited about becoming a core influence on a FOSS project working to reshape what it means to sell as an indie creative in our world, apply here!👉

Hey all, Ana has been a wonderful supporter of our project and is exactly the kind of creator Conjured is intended to support. We don't have something ready quite yet that can help now, but YOU can support her directly on SubscribeStar and help her out of a bad pinch. Every bit helps!!
