#NewStudy: In a survey of 6,500+ college students, 36% of respondents were food insecure, while 20% were nutritionally insecure.

When policies addressing ultra-processed foods focus on identifying specific chemicals on ingredient lists, Big Food shifts what additives they use to avoid regulation.
Thus, some experts are proposing a different approach: define what constitutes a "non-ultra-processed" food instead.
