Our findings emphasize the need to consider cultural identity and migration histories in public health strategies to build vaccine confidence among immigrant communities

💡 Findings (cont.)
- Pre-migration experiences from Vietnam played a mixed role. While some parents expressed trust in Vietnam’s national immunization program, others referenced vaccine-related concerns they had heard about before migrating

📚 We conducted a survey of 408 parents and in-depth interviews with 32 participants.

💡 Findings:
- Parents with stronger ties to Vietnamese culture reported higher trust in scientists involved in vaccine development
- Proficiency in English correlated with greater trust in federal health agencies
