I suspect the bump in pay has much to do with the increase.

In a forest, blue tubing is connected to spigots inserted in maple trees to collect sap. The tube at the bottom of the image is in focus while the others and indeed everything else is blurred due to depth of field.

A green-backed hummingbird grips the beige and brown stone wall of a house.

Catch your breath.

This poor hummingbird flew into a garage and couldn't find its way out. I finally managed to steer it out and it came to rest on the wall of the house where it remained for several minutes. I was humbled by the opportunity to get so close.
