I personally think sometimes it's better to leave some unkind words unsaid—not all opinions are warranting discussion. on the upside, my book is living in his head rent free. so, there's that. a win is a win?

at the end of the day, it's a discussion about my book that I put out into the world. a product of teenage catharsis written from ages 19-21. not everyone is going to love "Goodbye to Boyhood" and that's okay!
last night while at a bar, a guy came up to me and explained why they didn't like my book. he said he disliked the transition between "story 2 and 3", although my book is a collection of short stories, not a novel.. that said, it's a healthy reminder you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.
crash out november, self-awareness december
Anxiety stay whooping my ass

gonna be so honest still trying to figure out how to effectively use this app
finally some good news
we have lost the plot bc it shouldn't take 2+ years to produce a single season of television with 8 episodes. back in my day we had 22 episodes on rotation every year
I think it speaks to a greater issue that we as a collective society are regressing fast idk
mind you i attend nyu which is a relatively “progressive” institution and yet these conversations are relatively conservative in thought
there’s a terrible vibe shift in the air bc wdym every single class i take has decided within the past few weeks to start discourse on the validity of trans people…

ultimately i don’t know if this is my favorite film ever but I did really enjoy watching it. Rn I just have a LOT of questions and will be reading the book. you’ll gonna either love it or hate it. definitely leaning towards loving it here
it’s also a ridiculously wild plot like i went into it pretty blind on an edible and there were many points when I was literally taken back by the visuals. gagged, if you will, abt the film’s direction
to answer everyone’s questions, yes it’s super gay and yes there is a decent amount of nudity. so there’s that
just watched Luca guadagnino’s QUEER. here are my initial thoughts (spoiler free) 🧵
