I added automatic dialogue progression.
Dialogue nodes now advance automatically after a delay, and the dialogue closes itself after 3 s.
It reduces the amount of clicking, but you might miss something.
Would you keep this optional, use generous timings, or is this feature not that important at all?

Small dev update:
Started working on Chapter 2 with new puzzles and dialogues.
Also added invisible hotspots to make scenes more interactive, and finally implemented persistent settings.
Slowly starting to feel like a real game.
After 5 months of engine work and migrating my adventure game scene by scene to LibGDX, today I finally got back to content creation.
Designed two brand-new locations with dialogues, quests and puzzles. Feels great to move forward again!
Chapter 1 is ready for playtesting. Friends and family are my first group of playtesters. Let’s see how much I’ll have to fix after that.
An old stone tablet with a writing: It was one of those golden autumn days that make Freiburg look magical. For most of my fellow students, it was just a normal afternoon. At the time, I had no idea that this day would set me on a trail — from an old manuscript halfway across the globe to the gates of the Mayan underworld. A discovery that might have been better left hidden.
A small story sneak peek from my adventure game.

Gamemenu for the 5th Maya Codex
I got the new game menu from my graphic designer today.
It finally replaces my placeholder UI.
I really like it and can't wait to see it in action!
After valuable feedback I added a double-click fast-run feature today.
Players who prefer a faster pace can now move through scenes more quickly.
It feels good and looks great!
Would you use it?
