I am seriously concerned about the future of the borough of Lincoln Square :((((((

One of these things falling down the stairs of the CTA could genuinely kill multiple people. These things have to be removed immediately.
@chicagotree.bsky.social screaming today
Could write this about any of several locations around the city (the Ashland & IPR Starbucks comes to mind), but as long as we prioritize to the "but my vehicle has rights!" crowd, there is no solution to this problem!! Oh well this is just how we live!!!

Rent a cops?! I'm tired of this
I think I have no stranger danger skills because I'd be like omg thanks
Moulin Rouge continues to slap. Rated Q also continues to slap.
Music Box sign with the M out
Hi Music Box expert here! This is not funny, theaters only do this when they're in extreme distress.
I saw a resident fall out of an open second story window at their facility on Sheridan while I was on a run in 2018. So... I find this one easy to believe.
82 shocks me zero. Good info!
Definitely the 80 at times. Would you consider including express routes like X9 and X49? I generally would consider that bunching even though they're technically different routes.
Is there a witness slip yet for SB3336?
Oh that is SO fun. I had no idea!

Beta from rock climbing is a good one--to give beta is to suggest how someone could get through a bouldering problem (a problem is a route in bouldering). To "spew beta" is to give unsolicited advice.
Chicago has been inching in this direction but Johnson has been directly responsible for almost none of it. Too busy appointing his cronies to the CTA presidency I guess.
I walked into the bathroom the other day and felt like I'd moved through a portal to a new land. Lovely update! And maybe as an added treat NO FAKE COCKROACHES AT HALLOWEEN THIS YEAR??? ๐ญ
Protect your peace, but I am loving this.
Every time I check back on bluesky you are coming in hot with another historical ASOIAF take. what a good day.
This is extremely true. The wooden porch collapse of 2003 is a story I'll never forget because it was the Chicago equivalent of a club/bar tragedy.
Leo stands on business, not in bike lanes
I had a funny interaction once with a cyclist who said he knew I was "serious" because I was wearing a helmet on a divvy. I think this is strange--if I know I'm going to be cycling, I do bring my helmet, but the convenience of divvy is that you can take it unexpectedly. It's a personal choice.
I just saw, I'm glad you're okay!!!
MSI and water basin at Jackson Park with a cherry blossom tree in bloom framing it
Cherry blossom trees against a blue sky
A short cherry blossom tree on a very green lawn with a blue sky behind
The tops of cherry blossom trees with a blue sky behind
Make your way to Jackson Park for real!!!
๐จHUGE (to me) NEWS ๐จ
My husband and I were just lamenting how difficult it is to get from Montrose to the divvy at Horner when you're on a bike and we open an email 20 min later to see @ward33chicago.bsky.social announced a raised bike lane connection right there thanks to participatory budgeting!

Thank you!!
Does anyone know if you can see the baby rhino yet at Lincoln Park Zoo? I know it's not going to be publicly viewable for the first couple weeks.
Jeff Epstein? The New York financier?
Someone on a call just referred to email as snail mail (as opposed to meeting live/messaging). I'm floored.
