Boomers overall still voted for Trump, people under 50 did not.
Many friends of mine (in the mid 30s to 40s) are reckoning with their parents voting for Trump and indeed even telling them "I already fought my battles".
We mention it because we have firsthand experience with it.

If anything local matters more from a sheer numbers point of view. And often those people/amendments more directly affect your life.
Whatever vote for everything it takes 15 minutes.

I must admit, it appears an immigrant stole Trump's job.
Maybe it was foresight all along...

90% of "government waste" is people who just don't understand the thing, not actual waste.
I remember McCain using fruit fly research as an example of waste when he was running, which is clearly insane to any biologist.
