Except for Arizona, they don’t have Daylight Savings Time. Except for the Navajo Nation, partially in Arizona, because they do have Daylight Savings Time. Except for the Hopi Reservation, an enclave in the Navajo Nation. They don’t observe Daylight Savings Time.

About time… microservices are another tool to use under appropriate circumstances. The over head when those circumstances are not met is just to high for the benefits

Developing a game compatible with Linux doesn't necessarily drive any significant increase in sales, but instead leads to far more bug reports.

So, was it worth it? Read @software.kodera.pl's experience.

Callar puede ser contraproducente. Hablar es importante. Discutir también. Ser partícipe de las conversaciones es una de las mayores formas de aprendizaje que puedes encontrar… en esta sociedad tan ruidosa una buena conversación a veces es lo más valioso.

Every product has obvious flaws that make you wonder "How could they not fix this‽"

But there's always a reason. Sometimes a good reason and sometimes a bad reason.

I've learned to reserve judgement because there's often an interesting technical or organizational story behind them.

This should be the way for most companies, yet we live in this world…

I can imagine how a startup with 7 employees cannot afford this, but large companies should see the benefits on hiring and talent retention this kind of decisions make.

For me is a bit back to basics. Get deeper knowledge of databases internals, low level code and optimisation, etc.

Would love to toy a bit with game programming, but time is limited!
