My current favorite horror movies are Nosferatu 2024, Killer Klowns from Outer Space 1988, Black Swan 2010, Stephen King’s IT 2017 & 2019, Lost Boys 1987. That I can think of off the top of my head.

I grew up with horror movies. Probably saw them younger than I should have. My preference of horror are the classic 80’s slasher, the supernatural horror like “Hellraiser” and the B movies and VHS like “Puppet master” or “Subspecies” these are comfort and nostalgia.

The vast majority of ppl who chose "AI" deferred to it w/o checking the answers. Call it cognitive offloading, technochauvinism, automation bias, or trust in numbers, people assume "AI"=Computer, Computer=Math, Math=Objectively Correct, :. "AI"=Objectively Correct, but ot just isn't necessarily true

I look forward to listening to this episode. I’ve been poking around after seeing that article a couple weeks ago. It feels more like the industry trying to be rid of the mass market paperbacks because it’s not as profitable or photogenic as a sprayed edge super edition than a quiet extinction.
