Personally, I think we can make fun of sissy/crossdresser culture because it is overwhelmingly the aforementioned cis dudes doing a misogynistic fetish outside their "real" lives—any sad closeted trans people can simply stop relating to them and problem solved.

I think the larger problem is how "crossdressing" conflates 1, drag (roots in trans culture / a queer art form), 2. trans girls who may not be out yet/experimenting, and 3. cis dudes dressing like bad women caricatures because it's the most humiliating thing they can imagine to get their rocks off.

Reading is a muscle. I was an extremely fast reader my whole life and then when I got long covid I basically had to teach myself to read from scratch again and am now back to a good pace but slower then before. That being said, you can't be surprised reading is hard when you rarely work the muscle!
