The kind of Hytale tutorial ill make is one you want all your friends to do, one that makes them find the belief they can do it if they set their mind to it, the kind that dispels fear and allows people to move forward
Every time I was with a friend I'd make them do the CGFastTrack Blender tutorial
In Minecraft all I do is roam around, every corner is beauty waiting to be noticed. Here in Hytale, I don't feel like the world is truly mine in my lonesome, but that is also a strength, the world is alive and you are an actor evolving within.
I see the potential. Very good work
Obviously, friction does not necessarily mean learning, just need to think of relevant tests and challenges to better evaluate myself
Makes me worried I'm not learning anything, akin to what some people refer to tutorial hell
At the same time, if I'm not using it I feel like world is going on without me
I'll just do what my gut tells me for now and try to find a balance
Coming back to programming in the age of AI makes me feel disturbed, I'm used to friction and spending my time browsing gnu c docs
Now I can ask AI to explain notions, everything I don't understand I just name it and I get an explanation

REMEMBER. REMEMB-
Made a tile-map in preparation for the upcoming Comfy Game Jam: Winter, surprisingly easy to make and delightful to fill worlds with!
I'll take everything I learned, believe in myself, and find out what's the best game developer I can be.
I will carry these lessons with me as I move into my next journey.
Thanks to everyone who watched me play. Now it's time for me to return to the other side, to become a game developer that offers worlds to people, to have fun, to rediscover themselves, to think, and so on.
I enjoyed all of this and rediscovered myself. I was capable of being remade by my own hands.
Now, I did not become a pro-player like I had wished, I am certain that, I could have done it with more time or if I had been better in my training and willingness to work and understand.
I played in some tournaments and felt the pain of not carrying my team on my back, of being outclassed, being more motivated than my teammates and the joy of having understood the game better, having better reflexes, having better split-second decisions.
felt like an idiot and saw all these players that were better than me thinking they were endowed with something I did not have. I felt like that, but I did not entertain it and kept pushing thinking my results will be the answer, thinking I need to play my cards to the fullest and enjoy the game
League arc has ended, I was the 3000th player in EU West (top 0.07%), after my first 5 months of a serious ranked season.
It was fun to stream, to improve, to be confronted with how lacking I was, as a player and as a human being.
Many times, I thought it was all over for me, I got stuck,
Too kind..
I view game development as the making of other realities, ones where the player may enter as themselves, and leaves changed. A space where people can grasp things in ways that are beyond their current self and leave with that new understanding.
what do you dislike about it?
It was absolutely amazing, my fellow DJ there delivered an incredible show, my first set was met by a beautiful energetic crowd, I've had so much fun.

- Interlude -
I will be playing a DJ set in Paris, my first ever, come see me live !
This week-end, we learned how to animate a character, use tilemaps to create a world, different colliders and their usages, implement player movement, make a jump that falls faster when you lose your
momentum...
Let's see what we do next
From now on I will be on stream making games and learning lots, every week-end, until I find a job in game development. Tune in!
