It may not be logical, or maybe it's wasteful of gas, but I still enjoy a lunch break in my car in the sunshine listening to podcasts -way- more than in some sandwich place full of strangers

Yes - yes, that is exactly what I mean to tell you. Her name is Lulabelle, and despite her small stature and lack of thumbs she has a natural talent for Mandarin cooking.
That may be the best fried rice you've ever had. Enjoy.
its just funny to me that the avatar of conservative masculinity is such a moist subservient cuck
Okay, that's cool -- maybe next time I see you guys on I can jump in. I'm like 25 minutes into single-player and it's clear, this is a team game
I have to believe that one day the US President's communications will once again not routinely be so unhinged that you have to triple check the source to confirm they're not bad taste parody...
... but it is not this day.
At some point there have to be some consequences for something
the most thoroughly vindicated man in hollywood.

our government combines the impulse control of pete hegseth, the intellectual rigor of rfk jr, and the attention span of donald trump with elon musk’s signature sense of humor
(Wakes up, checks news)
Cheers to D McD. He's missed.
The plot of the first episode is specifically about how they're re-opening Starfleet Academy, after what we assume is a hiatus of like 100+ years.
Seems clear that Starfleet has continued to exist, so logically all current officers trained at the War College. They wouldn't close it overnight.
Amazing
People who don't know Star Trek assume the Vulcans are logical and cold and don't have emotions, when the truth is they embraced logic because their emotions are *so* strong.
Minnesotans are like that. Why do we emphasize being nice? Because when it's time to not be so nice, we're formidable.
The crux is always "omg I can't believe I got fooled" and most of the time, based on who's posting I can absolutely believe it
Seems important that so many of us wish it had been
Apparently, I just played my 1000th hole of PGA 2K25 golf on the PlayStation. It's suspenseful sometimes, but generally relaxing. Nobody I know gives a shit about video game golf.
What's your unusual or unique relaxation or self-care thing that your friends maybe don't get?
This is Minneapolis.
Collective trauma, and neighbors helping neighbors.
This is our 24/7 every day lives right now, not just a 10 second news clip.
a diagram showing a ram trx unable to see a 9 year old and a 4.5 year old over its hood and also a rented black ford expedition unable to see a 1.1m greg bovino over its hood
you’re all making jokes but the reason Greg Bovino was removed from duty is a safety issue we all need to take seriously
Clear communication is so important
This.
And also, they will fail
All of this is fucking senseless. Minnesota did not have an immigration problem. Trump sent his Nazi thugs here because he's racist against Somali people and to own libs like Tim Walz. Now two Minnesotans are dead and Minneapolis is on the verge of going up in flames. None. Of. This. Was. Necessary.
In MN, all police need at least a 2-year degree. Many have more than that. Professional LEOs should be objecting even harder than the rest of us.
ICE makes things worse. And they are bad at what they say is their job. They need to go.
Yeah, I just made that mistake. Straight up execution. Don’t watch. Turn off autoplay.
Abolish ICE. Fire them all. Prosecute *every single abuse*.
Get these violent thugs out of our city. They're not doing anything good
Hi folks, I'm seeing a lot of "Eyes on Minneapolis" & "We support Minnesota" sentiment. Here's a tangible way you can help:
Trump just suspended federal funding for SNAP benefits to Minnesota. Second Harvest Heartland is an MN-based hunger-relief org.
Please donate what you can.

Proud of my town
The thing about the 80's is, it was damn near EVERY movie for a minute there. You could argue for a "Big Trouble in Little China" or a "Real Genius" or something like "Witness" or "Fatal Attraction." But overall, "Die Hard" has to be up there, right?
Oh - aimed at kids? "The Goonies" then.
