His family was arrested during the Vel' d'Hiv roundup.
His father Wolf (1893) and his two sisters Perla (1923) and Syma (1924) were deported on 31 July 1942, then his mother Juchete (1895) followed on 7 August 1942. Two weeks later, it was Bernard's turn.

Recently (I think it was on World Poetry Day) they posted poems written by inmates in the form of images, possibly because of the 300-character limit, also lacking alt-text. I can understand why this is frustrating.

His mother Anna (1860) died in #Theresienstadt on 27 July 1943.
His brother Leo (1885), and Leo's wife Irma (1896) and son Pavel (1925), were deported from Prague to the Łódź ghetto on 26 October 1941.

The family had gone into hiding at separate locations. Dollij was hiding in a farm housing six other Jewish people. Unfortunately somebody betrayed her hiding location.
Her parents and her two sisters survived.

His wife Henryka (1900) was shot in a labor camp near Lvov on 19 June 1943.
Their two children. Alexander (1929) and Irena (1931) survived in hiding. They emigrated to Israel after the war.

Or Herman Rosner.
He was deported with his father Sauel (1897) and his mother Breindla (1908).
Sauel was selected for forced labor. He died in March 1944 in Warsaw.

Oui, c'est vrai.
Ceci dit, l'électrification n'est certainement pas une panacée.
D'une part, plus de voitures électriques implique forcément une augmentation de la demande d'électricité (sauf pour ceux qui ont les moyens de se doter d'une installation solaire).

Francis Vailles a raison. Ce n'est pas une bonne idée. Plus le prix de l'essence augmentera, plus vite les gens se tourneront vers les voitures électriques ou, comme moi, réduiront les déplacements. Evidemment, à court terme, ça fait mal. A long terme, le climat en bénéficiera.
