This is beautiful; thank you! I hear the cardinal more than anything where I live.

Okay, it LOOKS perfect! ๐Ÿ˜Š I'm a picky person who is very impressed by what you did and love every millimeter of it.

These people will never realize that the best way to handle tweets that irritate them is to ignore them, don't even read them, to show that they don't care. Instead they feel they MUST read and address them, showing just how perfectly the tweets met their goal and how much they irritate them. SMH

Me either, but I need to learn that so I can get 8 hours of sleep that doesn't start around 4 AM and is broken into less than four sessions (sometimes it's more). Maybe I need a caretaker... ๐Ÿ˜‚

The American Robin (Turdus migratorius), found in North America. It is a large bird with a large, red breast.

Then you have the American Robin version, which got its name a couple of centuries later, but whose breast color is closer to true red. The ones I see truly are deep red, though this pic looks somewhat orange-y. It's also a larger bird.

I don't disagree (USA citizen here), but let's also point out that the UK's arrest record regarding immigration is at its highest level in history.

I once raised a few silk worms, fed them often daily LOTS of mulberry leaves (luckily grew just outside our apartment), watched them grow A LOT then build bright yellow cocoons, then come out as large, beautiful moths, then die quickly. Worked very nearby, so got to feed them at lunch too.

My grandparents always had many different flowers & native plants, & we loved watching the Monarch butterfly's whole process - watching the chrysalis's construction, the butterfly emerging & waving its wings while drying out, then flying. We learned LOTS on my grandparents' farm and in their house.

Good point. The USA's federal and state medical rules and laws are generally some of the worst in the world for what we COULD do for our citizens. Dumpy's administrations is the unbelievably worst ever and getting worse (that applies to anything they do).

Sounds like a bighearted company plus a comment on your value to them. That was someone's great idea! Maybe 40 years ago, the coal company where a friend worked paid a scholarship so she could go to college (company-wide practice).

I think it depends a lot on WHERE you work in USA. I've had great leave, both vac & med, & no problem when I needed time off for short periods. Also depends on your level at work, e.g., salary v hourly makes a diff in your freedom. But @ a university and private co was much better than @ a law firm.

Feel more fortunate each time I read others' issues. Had brain surgery in 90s & boss gave me extra time off (month w/pay, not 2 wks). Broke ankle at university employer, boss saw me at my desk w/leg up & said go home. Worked from home for 6 wks. Just a couple of examples of overall great treatment.

It's beautiful and makes me want to start knitting an afghan that resembles it. โค๏ธ

That is so beautiful! It might be the most beautiful I've ever seen! Your color choices are amazing, and the construction is perfect.

P.S. I'd love to see that pattern on Ravelry.

It is so gorgeous, both the knitting and the pattern! Your binding off story reminds me of basically having the same experience while knitting a binding around an afghan then binding off.

Glorious! Thanks for sharing. I have an old table loom but haven't been able to convince myself to warp it yet. My love of knitting over everything else isn't helpful for weaving either.

Although I prefer reading on my computer because of the bigger screen, I also read on my Samsung S10 phone that's about 7 years old and still going strong. I have an older, cheaper, not-Kindle reader with a bigger screen, but I need to replace its battery, which I haven't had to do with my phone.

My Samsung S10 is around 7 years old now and has its original battery (maybe because I limit it to 85%). It's what I read on at night. Its battery charger connection port did wear out about a year ago, but a friend bought me a charging plate and it works perfectly.

This reminds me of buying gas in the 80s. At one point during a gas war, I paid 27 cents/gallon and other times 50-something cents per gallon.

A chain post. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Reminds me of chain letters back in the day...

It's reasonable if you like them and think you'd use them. I'd save money there, because I wouldn't touch DPNs with a 10-foot pole. ๐Ÿ˜ I only use circulars, no matter what I'm knitting. To each her own!
