The gryphon rider landed only a few minutes ago for a very important meeting, leaving their mount in the courtyard to be "tended to".

Tended to how? Well, the mount might have an idea.

A 7 panel comic featuring Fathom, a skullheaded eel demon, and Kum, a blue kobold. 1: Fathom leisurely yawns, strolling into his office in the early morning... "Man, being up so early sucks." He grumbles, "But gotta keep at it for th' boss" As he walks in, there's also a chest that emits a quiet "Thmp" 2: "Huh?" The eel raises an eyebrow "Is that a mimic?" The panel is a closeup of his face, confused... 3: "Occupied too it seems, heh" The mimic, now revealed, slips out its tongue to point out a note left on its top half (with a lil Slrp) 4: "A note from Surnym...?" Fathom kneels to look at the note, the other hand resting on the mimic's maw. A louder more insistent "THMP" comes from the mimic-- "Yes, yes, I know you're full" 5: Fathom holds and reads a note from Surnym, including a small doodle in the top left. The note reads: Hiya there Fathom! I recently noticed one of my pets caught some critter. Poor guy must've been churning in there for a while. Gotta say, the guy took me like a champ before I released'em, haha~! Was about to set'em free when I remembered how much good work you've been doing. So how about you skip work for the day and enjoy my lil' gift real proper, eh? With love, your boss, Surnym P.S. Once you're done, let'em out through the back! "Oh~? A day off AND a present" Fathom murmurs to himself 6: "Well let's see what we're working with today" Fathom states from outside the mimic. Inside, we see the large tongue of the creature slathering over Kum. 7: Upon opening the mimic, Fathom peers in, "Ah, a kobold~!" he smiles, "classic" The blue kobold continues groaning in a futile effort to avoid being tasted all over

An 11 panel continuation of the previous page 1: "Well well well..." drawls the eel, "Let's get a good look at ya" Imposing over the kobold, Fathom smirks and looks down, backlit by the pink lighting. 2: Kum looks up from the ground, currently leashed and bound in some rope. There are some captions pointing at various parts of his body "Cute snout-- we'll see how much you can take~", "Already tied up! Perfect...", "Big for a 'bold- coulda fooled me for a lizard" and "Already eager I see, hehe." 3: Fathom holds a fist to his chin. "Mm, surnym's real generous today..." 4: "Well then-" the eel starts, holding Kum by the chin 5: "let's have some fun, mmk?" he grins, "yer gonna love this." "Heh, I won't make you wait..." reassures Fathom 8-10 are a small montage sequence. 8: Fathom bites the kobold's shoulder, tugging the leash forward 9: Licking the kobold's face, Fathom savours his flavour 10: Plowing the kobold's rear, Fathom leaves a few loads in his now-loosened hole... 11: A caption marks "Later..." as Fathom continues to enjoy his time with the kobold. Tied up and suspended, the kobold is making out with the eel's length. Bright pink sigils on the kobold glow brighter... In the background is Surnym, the eel's boss, peering in and thinking "heh- glad to see him like the gift"

It's the start of a new day, and like usual, Fathom mentally prepares for a long day of work at the crack of dawn...

But it seems his boss may have something else in mind for the hard working accountant-- something making a racket in his office it seems...?
