Sorry I don’t get it, could you make this a video?

Umazing!
👀
Just a normal string of dialogue in Granblue Fantasy (start from the bottom and go up)
That’s fine, I just wanted to make sure you weren’t avoiding it for the wrong reasons, and you’re actually playing more stuff than me currently so I’m not one to talk about adding another
To put another way, there is no bricking in Uma.
…wait, I think you might be misunderstanding something. You start over after every run, there are no permanent penalties.
Maybe my recent obsession with roguelites helped get me the proper mindset too: fail early and fail often for incremental gains
Fair enough, I’d argue with the number of times you end up repeating the core game loop and how it gets steadily easier it actually helps you get over decision paralysis but if it’s not for you it’s not for you
OK so you’ll connect princesses but not make them
They do actually
You bet your hooves I am, just still rerolling currently
Race me in Uma
Not a science person but I believe this research may necessitate a bunch of CAT scans.
Yeeeeeah don’t ask me about irl timeline…
If I remove Cinderella Gray, then shoutout to Apocalypse Hotel being the surprise hit of the season - effortlessly covering multiple genres while maintaining a ridiculous comedic style tempered by melancholy.
Also a Cygames production btw.
With that said, I popped back on here to declare this currently the greatest entertainment* timeline:
1. Cinderella Gray being a perfect adaptation and blowing up in the general anime mindshare; not DBZ levels but seeing a lot more mainstream attention
2. GLOBAL ENGLISH RELEASE OF THE GAME TONIGHT!
It’s funny, back in the Twitter days I could definitely say I was dependent on it for dopamine, but after going cold turkey my whole need for social media kinda went with it.
Which is a long way of apologizing for not updating this as often, but maybe I’m just in my old man hermit phase now.
Shogun Latte
Somewhat related - I do not know what makes this a latte for shoguns but I approve.
A bit shy over a year later and it happened again - this was not black teas! Except this time I was just surprised instead of vehemently repulsed.
I’m a big boy now!
(Henry how do you possibly confuse coffee with tea)
My joy is honestly beyond words! Since he isn’t directly related to this post, I won’t go any further. I just want to say one thing: in the well-known History of Japanese Horse Racing video series on NicoNico, the most-viewed episode by mile isn’t the one about the "culmination of Japanese horse racing"— Deep Impact. But rather a racehorse who defied fate and created miracles - Stay Gold
And even those two lack the historical momentum as they’re entirely fictional characters. To borrow a quote from a Reddit post:
Stay Gold, the newest horse announced for the Umamusume Franchise
I don’t think I’ll ever see a reaction as frenzied or emotional as the announcement of Stay Gold in the recent Umamusume 6th event concert, “New Frontier”.
The closest equivalent I can think of is announcing the return of Olga Marie in FGO, or Belial being playable in GBF.
This is my current challenge, extra hard as I’m matching East Coast schedules in realtime.
I think I’ve figured it out even if it means my windows of opportunity to do things in the weekdays are nonexistent. (Assuming I want healthy amounts of sleep anyway)
“Oh you want to meet Genri? Your chances are actually higher in Japan than the US” 😭
Winning one of the Classics is the equivalent to a gold medal in the Olympics.
Winning all three, being a Triple Crown, is like one person getting gold in a sprint, marathon, and inbetween. Insanely difficult for a body to adapt to in a short period of time.
Symboli Rudolf pulled that off.
The other two of the Classics, the Satsuki Sho and Kikka Sho have similar requirements. These three races have different length and conditions favoring different types of racers, whether it be stamina with long distance, burst power because shorter distance or incline, etc.
For episode 7 of Cinderella Gray, some supplemental facts:
The Japan Derby is a race that only allowed horses in their third year to participate, no exceptions. Other races have similar age restrictions.
So win or lose, it is literally a once in a lifetime experience for them.
I’ve been testing realtime remote work this week lol
