Also no one is talking about preventing private equity from buying multifamily buildings are they? The focus has been on single family homes. At least one apartment building in the city did get purchased by PE but nothing proposed at the state level would stop that.

Last year, one of my friends bought two cases of Minor Figures oat milk for her and her wife to try to avoid tariff related price swings. She has just re-upped. It’s 8 boxes, 32 cartons total. It’s the same price!

I’ve had a rough last week or so and I am so grateful for my friends who have shown up to support me and also sent food. So much food: beef stroganoff, carnitas, nuggs from Wendy’s, a care package from Zingerman’s. It’s gonna take me a while to eat all of this.
I have a father and mother in law in Iran. I have a sister in law. A niece. She's 14. She likes silly pink headbands and purses and dresses, just like kids her age all over the world. There are 93 million people like her in Iran. People who do all the normal mundane life things as the rest of us.
